Description
The Journal of Techniques (formerly known as Al-Takani) is, a peer-reviewed journal that belongs to the Middle Technical University. The journal deals with the state-of-the-art research in engineering.
- The journal was founded in 1989 as a "multi-disciplinary" journal.
- It became electronic in 2019 under ISSN: 2708-8383
- Obtained DOI and DOAJ in 2021 and 2023 accordingly.
- The journal switched from being multi-disciplinary to an engineering-only journal in 2024.
Note:
Prior to March-31-2024, the journal was interdisciplinary, and it was focused on engineering, management, medical techniques, Sciences, and applied arts and their related sub-fields.
Starting March-31-2024, the journal is no longer interdisciplinary as it is focused on the engineering specialization only.
The other specializations emerged into their own journals (under the same publisher, middle technical university).
The journal publishes four regular issues on a quarterly basis (March-31, June-30, September-30, and December-31). In addition, the journal also publishes special issues.
