Authorship Changes Policy

The Journal of Techniques follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity in authorship attribution.

Authorship After Acceptance

Authorship changes (addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors) are not permitted after manuscript acceptance.

Exceptional Circumstances

Exceptionally, in cases of demonstrable authorship error identified after acceptance, a request may be considered before publication under the following strict conditions:

  • A written request clearly explaining the reason for the proposed change
  • Signed consent from all listed authors, including those being added or removed
  • Editorial evaluation and final approval by the Editor-in-Chief

Post-Publication Policy

The journal does not permit authorship changes after publication under any circumstances, except through a formal corrigendum when required by an ethical investigation.

Unacceptable Requests

Requests made for reasons such as academic promotion, funding requirements, institutional pressure, or authorship disputes arising after acceptance will be automatically rejected.
